How to make a pixel!

Step 1: The first thing you want to do is open paint.
Step 2: Next, Zoom in 8x, you can use the zoom bar which is shown below:

Step 3: Once your zoomed in 8x grab the pencil tool and set it to whatever color you're going to use for what you're making.
Step 4: Once you've selected the pencil tool you have to carefully design out the image you're making. I'm making a christmas tree, you may want to try something easier such as a smiley face. Begin drawing out the outline of your image. See Below:

Step 5: Once you have completed the outline of the image, you can go through with a light shade or a darker shape of the outline color and fill in the middle. I added the stump of the tree. See Below:

Step 6: After you fill in the middle of the pixel you may add smoe details to it, i often like to outside the edges with white, i like the way it looks. I also added a tree skirt. You can add the details that you'd like to yours! See below:

Step 7: Once you have completed all the details that you would like to have on your pixel, you can zoom out using the zoom tool. My pixel is sort of tiny :D You can make them bigger by just making them wider and taller when you're drawing the outline out. See Below:

There you go! Save your image and you have a pixel! I like to open mine on PaintShop Pro x2 and make the backround transparent. I also add inner bevel to my pixel to make it look a little more 3d. You can see what the full image with the inner bevel looks like below. Also if you'd like to learn how to add inner bevel then there is a tutorial for it in my tutorials section :D
